Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum

Project

PBS Kids had a brand new show that viewers hadn’t heard about yet. Our job was to create a website that introduced them to the brand and characters before the show’s launch. And create a games suite that not only continued but strengthened engagement with the brand after the launch of the show.

Website

It was established early on that the website should feel like an extension of the show where the characters felt like they were right there in the browser with you. To do this, I reviewed all the available episodes to identify the most used locations of the show and character behaviours/catch phrases. I identified four locations of the show to use for the website home and subpages and assigned the most popular ones to the pages that would get the most traffic.

Website Takeover CMS Tool

To update the website for an upcoming holiday or release, the website was designed to allow the client to inject their own imagery through a CMS tool. The images are anchored to the corners and sides of the screen so the website is still responsive.
